New Age Engineering Solutions is a project management, professional welding and mechanical service provider to the South African construction industry through highly qualified and skilled team members. We are looking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager and Document Controller to join our team.

Document Controller

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage documents, classification, tracking and distribution thereof.
  • Responsible for implementing, coordinating and maintaining the document management systems.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
  • Continuously conduct and participate in compliance audits to determine non-compliance with minimum standards.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related field
  • QC Level 1 or Technical experience in the petrochemical industry would be advantageous 
  • An understanding of a SHEQ system
  • An expert in MS Office

Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Financial Manager in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
  • Conduct financial analysis, including the preparation of financial reports and forecasts
  • Manage cash flow and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities for the company
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Assist in tax planning and ensure compliance with all tax regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual reports
  • Assist in the management of audits and other financial reviews
  • Support the Financial Manager in ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
  • BBBEE compliance tracking and reporting

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial management or related field
  • Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
